I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from Wayne State University in 2022.
Areas of Research
My focus is on age-related neurodegeneration, particularly those caused by polyglutamine expansion disorders using Drosophila models of disease; this involves studying the molecular mechanisms of neuron degeneration and exploring potential neuroprotective effects of different drugs on our model. Ubiquitin biology and deubiquitinating enzymes.
