Biography

Kristin is a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Sokol Todi’s Lab. She obtained her PhD in the department of Physiology at Wayne State University in 2023, where she studied adaptive responses to exercise in the brain as well as the effects of genetic diversity on disease severity. Her postdoctoral work now focuses on age-related neurodegenerative disease using various whole organism, genetic and molecular approaches in Drosophila.
