Zoya Bangash

Biography

Zoya Bangash is currently a junior at Oakland University pursuing a degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Pre-Professional Studies and a minor in German. She is Currently a Lab Technician/Research Assistant in Dr. Wei-Ling Tsou’s Lab in the Pharmacology Department at Wayne State University’s School of Medicine (WSU-SOM) where she studies the Parkinson’s Disease model in Drosophila, more specifically, studying the effects of different compounds on the aggregation of alpha-synuclein. Her laboratory expertise involves statistical analysis, Western blotting, Native PAGE, as well as as Drosophila longevity and motility assays.
