Education

Areas of Research

Chemicals in the environment derived from human-made products can harm living things. Some chemicals, called endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), mimic hormones in the body and alter hormone systems. My research characterizes how EDCs affect heart structure and function using cell culture and zebrafish models.
