Seoyoung Son

Biography

Seoyoung is a postdoctoral fellow in the Garrett lab, where she is working to understand the mechanism of self-avoidance in the mouse retina. She is focused on the isoform diversity and functions of gamma protocadherins and Dscams. Before joining the Garrett lab in 2022, she worked as postdoctoral fellow at Penn State University, college of medicine. She received her Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Penn State University.
