Rasa Borhan presents at Sickle Cell Disease Research & Educational Symposium

Rasa Borhan, a 2nd-Year Pharmacology Ph.D. student, presented at this year's Sickle Cell Disease Research & Educational Symposium, conducted in Fort Lauderdale, FL, from June 5th through June 7th.

Co-authored with his faculty mentor, Dr. Jennell C. White, the title of Rasa's presentation was, "Mechanistic Dissection of VLA-4 Function in Sickle Reticulocytes Using Conformation-Sensitive Flow Cytometry and Shear-Based Adhesion."
